Baby Stuff For Easy Eating
Having an 18 month old son, I have learned that there are some products that have to be "just so" for your
child to use and to function as intended. Bottles and bibs were at the top of the list of important things to have "just so",
and now the right eating utensils are proving to be the next important item. These are just a few things that I found
to be the best of their kind, and as my son grows I will have more items
to share, so check back from time to time.
Avent Baby Bottles and Cleaning Tools
These are the only kind of bottles that I will by for my son or anyone else. They are BPA free, made of quality, solid
plastics, the nipples never invert when the baby is drinking, and they have an air-exchange system that keeps the liquid
flowing steadily and reduces air bubbles. That means less burps for baby and less headaches for you!
Bibs
Bumpkins Waterproof Superbib has so far been the bib of choice because of it's lightweight fabric and pocket
design. It catches most food that is dropped from the mouth area and because it is so light and comfortable, my son
never tried to rip it off!
Baby Bjorn Soft Bib is the runner up because it is made of a soft, flexible rubber that can be wiped off with
just a washcloth or rinsed in the sink. The pocket also was very efficient at catching food, but it was not as lightweight
as the Bumpkins so my son decided to rip it off and throw it on the floor.
Dream Baby Stay Put Cutlery and Bowl set
This set has a bowl with a large suction cup on the bottom to stay on the table and fork and knife also equipped
with suction cups and cords to keep them from being launched onto the floor. Just make sure the surface you put them
on is squeaky clean to be sure they stick. Now I don't have to sit there and hold the bowl down myself!
